Problem:
The Publisher Portal team at APRA AMCOS needed to migrate a legacy COBOL application to a modern SaaS platform, ensuring it could handle large volumes of data and support over 111,000 music creators. The search functionality was particularly slow, affecting user experience and system performance.

Action:
I optimized the search functionality using Elasticsearch, enabling rapid and precise searches across millions of records. Leveraging TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS, I built scalable solutions. For backend data, I used PostgreSQL and TypeORM, streamlining data management and improving system performance.

Result:
We significantly improved the user experience, especially for key features like Agreement search, creation, and modification. The platform became more user-friendly, with faster search times and a seamless interface, boosting user satisfaction and productivity.

Problem:
The challenge was to build an engaging, seamless user interface for the Momo & Yeti platform that allowed users to interact with unique collectible characters, mint NFTs, and handle Web3 wallet integrations across both desktop and mobile environments.

Action:
I led the front-end development using ReactJS/NextJS to create a responsive, animated UI from scratch. I developed features enabling users to explore various characters, each with its own unique story, and integrated Smart Contracts for NFT minting. I also implemented Web3 Wallet integration, supporting both Metamask and WalletConnect for cross-platform accessibility.

Result:
The platform delivered a highly engaging user experience with smooth, secure NFT transactions. The integration of Web3 wallets improved accessibility across devices, significantly boosting user engagement and interaction.

Problem:
As the lead developer for Samsung Electronics’ VNFD and TTv2 Web projects, I faced the challenge of building scalable web applications from scratch while ensuring code quality, automating complex processes, and migrating legacy systems. Additionally, there was a need for real-time data visualization tools to support our Korean counterparts.

Action:
For the VNFD project, I designed and developed the front-end with ReactJS and implemented core features like configuration generation using NodeJS REST APIs. I automated deployments using Docker and Nginx, improving system reliability. On the TTv2 Web project, I led the migration of a legacy desktop app to a scalable web-based solution, defined code structure, and introduced a unit testing strategy to ensure maintainability. For data visualization tools, I built multiple real-time dashboards from scratch using ReactJS and ChartJS, integrating them with REST APIs.

Result:
The VNFD tool streamlined 5G network configuration processes, reducing manual effort and improving reliability. The TTv2 migration resulted in a more efficient, scalable, and maintainable web application, benefiting the entire testing team. The data visualization tools provided real-time insights, improving decision-making for the Korean team, and all deployments were optimized for efficiency and reduced downtime using Docker and Nginx.

Problem:
At Monstarlab Philippines, I faced the challenge of improving the ELA Tool's performance and functionality. The tool, designed for auto-tagging records based on historical datasets, struggled to efficiently handle millions of records, leading to long processing times and limited search capabilities.

Action:
To address these issues, I enhanced the Angular front-end to meet new client requirements, improving user experience. On the backend, I refactored the NodeJS/Express code to optimize data handling, reducing the processing time from hours to minutes. I also integrated Elasticsearch to enable advanced search functionality, allowing for faster and more accurate record searches.

Result:
The refactored ELA Tool saw a significant reduction in processing time, making it far more efficient in handling large datasets. The integration of Elasticsearch further improved performance, enabling rapid searches and better usability. These enhancements resulted in greater system reliability and increased client satisfaction.

Problem:
As a Co-founder (CTO) and NodeJS/ReactJS Developer at Eventmaker.ph, I faced the challenge of building a platform from scratch to meet the unique needs of professional event suppliers and organizers, while ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless payment processing.

Action:
I led the product planning and design, ensuring alignment with user requirements. I built the backend using NodeJS with Prisma to serve a GraphQL API, improving data management and performance. On the front-end, I implemented UI/UX designs with ReactJS and Apollo, translating them into a responsive, user-friendly interface. I also integrated payment gateways like PayPal and DragonPay for streamlined transactions and deployed the app on Digital Ocean for scalability.

Result:
These efforts enabled us to launch the MVP successfully and onboard suppliers who created their portfolios and service offerings.

Problem:
As a Computer Programmer at Western Mindanao State University, I faced the challenge of enhancing the university's digital platforms to improve online presence, data management, and administrative capabilities.

Action:

• University Website: I enhanced the PHP-based WordPress website by adding new posts and content, creating new pages to meet evolving client needs.
• University Executive Dashboard: I developed an interactive dashboard from scratch using ReactJS, implementing data visualizations and advanced search capabilities with customizable filters and export options to Excel.
• Bids and Awards Committee Bidding Portal: I built a responsive portal using ReactJS and Redux, integrating file uploads, project management features, and search functionalities, and developed the backend REST API with PHP.

Result:
These actions improved the university’s online presence and administrative efficiency. The enhanced website increased engagement, the dashboard facilitated better data analysis and reporting, and the bidding portal streamlined the process, improving overall user experience and operational efficiency.

Eqela

• Problem: The existing Eqela libraries lacked support for various platform-specific features, which limited the application’s functionality and required developers to implement these features individually.
• Action: I developed new Eqela libraries by integrating platform-specific code such as Android Java, Objective-C, JavaScript, and C#. This included adding features like Geolocation API and login integrations (Facebook/Google).
• Result: These enhancements extended Eqela’s functionality to support a broader range of features and platforms. This significantly improved the efficiency of Eqela developers by reducing the need for them to implement these functionalities individually, leading to a more streamlined development process and a better overall developer experience. Additionally, I promptly resolved bugs, ensuring reliable performance across different platforms.
