• Analyze freight contracts across modes, carriers, equipment types, etc., to identify cost‑saving opportunities and mitigate financial risks.
• Gather, clean, validate, and transform large volumes of logistics & transaction data from various sources for accurate reporting.
• Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly reports; interpret logistics cost components, trends, inconsistencies.
• Work with internal stakeholders, clients, and logistics service providers on resolving data issues, discrepancies, or disputes.
• Monitor and ensure that service level agreements (SLAs), cycle times, and other performance metrics are met.
• Identify root causes of issues, propose corrective actions, and help improve or automate processes to reduce manual work.

Strategic & Operational Oversight Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement Quality, Safety & Compliance Cross-Functional Coordination

• Lead end-to-end operations of flexible packaging production lines (e.g., laminated pouches, zip locks, wrappers) to ensure alignment with strategic production goals.
• Drive productivity improvements and cost reduction initiatives across multiple production shifts or departments.
• Oversee and adjust production plans to meet fluctuating customer demand, special orders, or urgent delivery timelines.
• Analyze production KPIs (OEE, yield, waste, downtime, etc.) and implement corrective actions or lean initiatives to optimize line performance.
• Champion process improvements (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to reduce inefficiencies and enhance product quality.
• Lead root cause analysis and cross-functional problem-solving to address recurring production or quality issues.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise and mentor production supervisors, line leaders, and operators; conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions.
• Set expectations, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
• Develop training plans to upskill team members in new equipment, safety procedures, and quality systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, ISO 9001, HACCP) and internal quality policies throughout all production activities.
• Lead audits (internal and external) and ensure documentation, procedures, and production records are complete and up to date.
• Proactively enforce occupational health and safety standards, lead incident investigations, and promote a zero-accident culture.
• Collaborate with planning, maintenance, QA, logistics, and procurement to ensure smooth workflow and minimal disruptions.
• Serve as the escalation point for production issues affecting delivery timelines, customer satisfaction, or equipment reliability.
• Provide regular production reports to plant management, with insights and recommendations for improvement.
