Board-certified radiologist, who finished a 4-year residency training in Diagnostic Radiology applying for a fellowship in interventional radiology where I can use my previous work experience from a well established tertiary hospital Interest in abdominal imaging (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy) and non-vascular intervention (Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy or CT-guided) Hepatobiliary/GI imaging and intervention – liver shearwave elastography (trained in both Philips and GE Ultrasound machines), spleen elastography, percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTBD), T-tube cholangiography, percutaneous cholecystostomy, interpretation of triple phase CT scans (for liver), MRI with liver-specific contrast, pre-surgical assessment with CT liver volumetry (trained using Siemens Syngo Via), minor experience with CT colonography/bronchoscopy interpretation Urologic Imaging/intervention – team with urologists for ultrasound-guidance to perform percutaneous nephrostomy tube insertion, suprapubic catheter insertion, ultrasound-guided prostate and focal renal biopsy (such as renal masses), interpretation of MR or CT urography, MR/CT renal angiography, multiparametric prostate MRI Transplant Imaging – pre-operative radiologic assessment of hepatic and renal anatomy (CT and Ultrasound/Doppler), post-operative ultrasound of hepatic and renal allografts using Doppler studies Vascular Imaging (Doppler or CT/MR angiography) - abdominal Doppler (pre and post-liver transplant, portal veins, hepatic arteries), native kidneys (renal artery evaluation for renal stenosis etc), renal allograft (post-renal transplant imaging), aorto-iliac vessels, carotid/neck vessels, upper and lower extremity arteries/veins, CT/MR cerebral angiography, CT mesenteric angiography Oncologic imaging - Positron Emission Tomography (PET)/CT interpretation (tandem reading with Nuclear Medicine specialists) Imaging-guided biopsy procedures (thyroid, pancreatic, musculoskeletal, lymph node, breast, etc), using ultrasound or CT Ultrasound-guided procedures: thoracentesis/paracentesis, drainage of collections, percutaneous insertion of pigtail catheters in the thorax/abdomen (liver abscess etc). Ability to interact effectively in an interdisciplinary environment (particularly during the hospital wide Multidisciplinary Team conferences) Trained in using radiology information system and workflow solutions (experience in using Medavis) and 3D post-processing of images (experience in using Siemens Syngo Via)
