Oversee the full spectrum of business operations, including inventory and supply chain management, staff supervision, financial planning, marketing, and customer service. Ensures that the pharmacy operates efficiently, maintains profitability, and upholds the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and quality assurance. As pharmacist, responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing patient counseling on proper drug use, monitoring for potential interactions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements such as the Philippine Pharmacy Act (RA 10918), FDA, DOH, and PDEA guidelines.

Responsible for supervising the proper receipt, storage, and issuance of pharmaceutical products, ensuring inventory accuracy and adherence to safety and quality standards. Conducst regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstocking, monitor expiration dates, and handle near-expiry or expired items in compliance with company protocols. Coordination with warehouse and procurement teams ensures the consistent availability of essential and fast-moving medications.

In terms of quality assurance, ensure that all medicines are stored under optimal conditions and that pharmacy areas meet strict cleanliness and safety standards. Also supports pharmacovigilance by monitoring and reporting adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and product issues.

Responsible for accurate documentation and record-keeping including maintaining prescription files, controlled substance logs, sales invoices, and regulatory reports to ensure compliance and accountability.

Plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, effective, and ethical distribution of medications. Primary responsibilities include accurately dispensing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs in compliance with medical prescriptions and Philippine FDA regulations. Provide essential patient counseling on proper medication usage, dosage, possible side effects, contraindications, and drug interactions—especially for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and the like.

Also responsible for strict regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to the Philippine Pharmacy Act (RA 10918), FDA guidelines, and other applicable laws. This includes maintaining accurate records of dispensed medications, handling of controlled substances, and verifying the authenticity of prescriptions, particularly for regulated drugs, as required by the FDA, DOH, and PDEA.
