Responsibilities

* Administered and organized by Chief Engineer and / or First Engineer.

*The Maintenance of entire engine room, including the outside of the engine room, engineering, machinery and any other technical equipment.

*As delegated by the Chief Engineer

*Safe operation of all Machinery During Watch.

*Safe operation of all Machinery During Watch.

*Performing emergency duties as assigned in Muster List.

*The Chief Engineer wil in writing assign specific watches, task and responsibilities to the second or 3rd Engineers. This must be documented and acknowledged by all engineers.

*Adhere to the company standards regarding dress and appearance.

*Any assignment issued by immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities as On Watch

*Consistently conducting routine inspection to monitor, control and troubleshoot all engine machinery and equipment under his control

*Operates machinery as directed by the Senior Engineer Ofiicer ON Watch in a safe and consistent manner, always in compliance with all Company policies and procedures and in particular ERM requirments. Gives input to teh population of the technical alamanac and completes the CPD in a timely fashion.

*Properly conducts and coordinates all assigned maintenance activities and accurate recording of work hgistory through the computerized maintenance management system as laid down in the company policies and procedures.

*Immediately reports all machinery or equipment damage or malfunction to the appropriate managerand raises defects as laid down in the Company policies and procedures.

*Willingly participates in the briefings when handling over to the next set of watchkeeping information is passed on to all inlvolved.

Responsibilities as Scrubber Engineer

*Conducts and coordinates all assigned maintenance activities and accurate recording of work history through the computerized maintenance management syatem as laid down in the Company policies and procedures.

*Act as the primary EGCS system technical and operations expert.

*Act as ships primary source of information related to EGCS operation in ECAS, European ports, and US Vessel General Permit waters, and related references and guidlines.

*Maintenance of all EGCS related references and Documentation.

*Ensuring system maintenance information(from the MIB or SIM) is installed in AMOS

*Manages assigned maintenance in a timely manner while confirming all Company standards are maintained.

*Daily system checks as required by IMO Guidelines.

*Managing and ensuring completion of the scheduled maintenance program of the EGCS system and its components.

*Management and resolution of system faults, including use of available resources e.g. the Ecospray Service Desk.

*Completes daily reporting as required and interfaces with PCL EGCS Shoreside Team to ensure system operation is maximized.
