· Assessing patients' overall vascular health.

· Monitoring vital signs and patient progress before and after procedures.

· Assisting Surgeon/s during vascular and endovascular surgeries and interventions.

· Prepare and manage surgical area for major and minor surgery

· Performing tasks such as dressing wounds and monitoring procedure sites.

· Administering necessary medications to patients.

· Working closely with vascular surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

· Providing comprehensive care and support to patients before surgery and managing their recovery afterwards.

· Educating patients and their families about vascular conditions, treatments, and self-care.

· Gathering patient information by conducting physical examinations and asking questions, monitoring vital signs, and assessing overall health conditions.

· Coordinating care: Acting as a liaison between patients and other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless care experience.

· Administering medications and treatments: Delivering vaccinations, providing wound care, and assisting in minor procedures.

· Write initial plan of care – nursing diagnosis/need/focus/discharge planning and patient teaching needs.

· Administration of oxygen- set up, initiate and administer: Nasal cannula, Face mask, Venti mask, Nonrebreathing mask.

· Blood products: Check, administer, and document blood product administration
State policy/procedure to use with transfusion reaction. Monitor patient during transfusion

· TPN, PPN, intra-lipids - administer and document. Tube feeding - check for placement, administer feedings, check and record residual: Nasogastric, Gastrostomy, Jejunostomy

Intravenous therapy (peripheral, intermittent infusion devices): Verify order, Insert line/device and label dressing, Label bag and tubing, Calculate and regulate rate, Flush intermittent infusion device, Assess and document site condition.
