- I believe that my biggest contribution to Northern Mindanao Medical Center is that through diligent research, keen observation, good communication skills, authenticity, vulnerability, servant leadership, and collaboration with leaders within the laboratory and from other departments, we were able to maximize our limited manpower, significantly decrease wastage of resources in the laboratory, and improve turnaround times of laboratory results in critical areas of the ICU and ER. Consequently, patients in these critical areas are promptly and more properly managed; hence, the unnecessary loss of lives and resources were prevented. Needless to say, this was motivated by empathy, curiosity and unwavering passion to make a difference in the lives of people, particularly among the marginalized sectors of our society by ameliorating the current healthcare system.
- As a member of the ARTA team, I was able to help in the review and final editing of the various processes in the hospital.
- I was able to help reinforce good practices and help to improve processes that needs improvement in the departments where I was assigned to audit for the ISO Accreditation.
