• DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF ENGINEERING STAFF (ELECTRICAL TECH.):
• Operate and maintain all electrical equipment to the required healthcare facility standard.
• Perform needed repairs of electrical equipment and circuits and ensure safe usage of electrical test equipment.
• Carry out installation works to current regulations and be able to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Carry out routine inspections monitor and inspect all electrical equipment to the required healthcare facility standard.
• Report to his immediate supervisor any variations from normal operational state.
• Work shifts or when required.
• Work at all times in a safe manner within the scope of the policies and procedures of the hospital.
• Comply with the standards laid down by the approved International Accreditation Standards (AIAS) and performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation.
• Through the chain of command and/or occurrence variance report, identifies any occurrence not consistent with the operation of the hospital or standard of service for patients, employees or visitors and situations that put patients, staff or visitors at risk for injury or other harm.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF ENGINEERING STAFF (HVAC TECH.):

• Operate and maintain all heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment to the required healthcare facility standard.
• Troubleshooting and repair of any defects appertaining to the HVAC system.
• Carry out installation works to current regulations and be able to read and interpret HVAC drawings.
• Carry out routine inspections monitor and inspect all HVAC equipment to the required healthcare facility standard.
• Report to his immediate supervisor any variations from normal operational state.
• Work shifts or and when required.
• Work at all times in a safe manner within the scope of the policies and procedures of the hospital.

• Replaced and repaired electrical bulbs, resolving troubleshooting issues efficiently.
• Interpreted electrical plans and diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
• Knowledge in electrical wiring installations.
