Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitoring patients during dialysis to identify any adverse reactions.
• Promptly notifying the medical practitioner of any adverse reactions
• Working with the technician to ensure that the dialysis machine and equipment are set up correctly.
• Giving medications as per orders order
• Inspect and maintain fistula, grafts or catheter to prevent infection or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with nephrologists. Adjust dialysis settings and contribute to individual care plan

• Provide initial assessment
• Administer medication as per doctor’s order
• Assist pre-operative patients
• Assist doctors on duty in any procedure such as CAST, SLAB, CAST REMOVAL, LOCAL INJECTIONS, ASPIRATION, EPIDURAL INJECTIONS, and SACROILIITIS INJECTIONS with the guidance of ultrasound, etc
• Provide care for the post-operative patients (dressing, suture removal, etc)
• Report any observation to the doctors on duty

• Quickly assess patients as they arrive, determining the severity of their conditions and prioritizing care based on urgency (using systems like the Emergency Severity Index).
• Administer medications as per doctor’s order
• Assist physician in minor procedures
• Monitor critically ill patients continuously and inform physicians of any deviations
• Work with ER doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients.
• Attend to patients need
• Prepares patient for examination and assists physician for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Conduct health teaching to the patients and relatives
• Reports observation to the attending physician

• Go on rounds with the physician and carry out doctor’s order.
• Conducts health teaching and interprets to the patient and his family their roles in promoting successful therapy and rehabilitations.
• Prepares patient for examination and assists physician for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
