-Facilitate transport of specimens, as necessary

-Assist the Project Leader and Project Technical Specialist in the preparation for training workshops and other project events

-Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

-Performs DNA Extraction in preparation for RNA Sequencing and Whole Exome Sequencing

• Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices
• Analyses blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures
• Prepares blood, plasma, and platelets for transfusions by conducting blood group, type and compatibility tests
• Ensures operation of analyzers, spectrophotometers, colorimeters, flame photometers and other laboratory equipment by calibrating; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
• Maintains laboratory supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
• Conserves laboratory resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

• Teach all the subjects that have been assigned to teach so and assigning homework and tasks that will help in students' overall development
• Take daily attendance and teach students proper behavior as well as maintaining discipline amongst students by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
• Communicate necessary information regularly to immediate supervisor, students, and colleagues regarding student progress and needs
• Use relevant technology to visualize and simplify complex topics
• Select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs and guide and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
