Successfully completed the Scientific Training Programme (STP) in Audiology, gaining the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field. During this time, I conducted a research dissertation on the effectiveness of alternative stimuli in paediatric hearing assessments, showcasing my dedication to clinical advancements within audiology.
Having passed the Independent Assessment of Clinical Competence (IAAC), I have begun the process of registering as a Clinical Scientist under the HCPC. I am eager to further develop expertise in adult and paediatric assessments, rehabilitation and ear care. I am seeking an organisation that values training and prioritises clinical and personal growth.
Focusing on reconnecting with family and friends through travel after long academic commitment.
Using my time abroad to learn more about indigenous cultures
Scheduled return for early spring 2025.
In 2020, I organized a BAME mentorship scheme and support service at my former school, in response to a petition I started advocating for a more diverse curriculum. The petition garnered over 700 signatures from current students and alumni, demonstrating my ability to drive positive change within institutions.
I also am a Level 1 student in British Sign Language (BSL). I am hoping to continue my training with the Manchester Deaf Centre.
