Summary
I was trained and mentored by Karen Binns, a Brooklyn-born, world-renowned stylist, creative director, and consultant with a 30+ year career shaping fashion and music. A trailblazer of NYC’s 1980s club scene and a former muse and close friend of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Binns has worked with Naomi Campbell, WizKid, Estelle, Tori Amos, and Tiwa Savage, and has consulted for designers including Ashish, Feben, Maharishi, Bianca Saunders, and Kanye West.
Through this mentorship, I gained hands on experience styling high-profile talent in high-intensity, celebrity-focused shoots. With a strong eye for fashion storytelling and a deep understanding of visual identity, I am eager to contribute creatively as a stylist assistant while expanding my expertise across new teams, projects, and creative challenges.
I am based in the UK and am fully prepared to relocate to the U.S. for this role immediately upon completing my BA Fashion Styling and Production course in early June 2026. I understand that a work visa will be required and am committed to taking the necessary steps to obtain one.
