

Experienced installation and repair technician with work history setting up, repairing and configuring telecommunications equipment. Talented at building relationships with customers and solving problems with little oversight.
The responsibilities of this role include assembling and organizing materials and equipment, drawings, specifications, and instructions. This includes running, pulling, stopping, and splicing copper and fiber optic cables, such as CAT5, CAT6, low voltage cables, and fiber.
Additionally, it involves mounting telecom equipment according to best practices, industry standards, and manufacturer requirements.
The installation of support structures like routers, hubs, switches, access control systems, and surveillance cameras is also part of the job.
Responsible for installing and testing various cabling systems, including network, security, and computer systems.
Also perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and use various tools and equipment to test cables, install racks, configure networks, and test data, voice, and fiber cables.
Often work with CCTV systems, IP and Analog security systems, and telephone systems.
