To ensure quality diagnostic images are produced from an MRI scan of a patient as well as building and having good rapport in order to make patients comfortable while the scan is occurring. Also, educate the patient on what procedure will take place, administer an IV if necessary in order to enhance the contrast within the scanned images, and position the patient on the the table per any instructions provided by physician.

Also assigned in rotation to CT Scan, X-Ray, including C-arm and portable procedures especially during times of crisis and as needed. Hence, this allows us to exude our skills in performing variety of complex imaging procedures for medical diagnostic purposes, utilizing modalities of medical imaging that produces ionizing radiation.

  • Verify the operation of MRI equipment and report if there is any need for repair and maintenance.
  • Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of high field strength magnets and related equipment to produce special radiographic images of specific body parts.
  • Explain examination procedures to patients while considering their physical and emotional needs.
  • Screen patients before examination for cardiac pacemaker, aneurysm clips, stapendectomy and eye surgery.
  • Position patients correctly for MRI examination.
  • Provide patient care and report patient needs for medical attention.
  • Supervise and direct new staffs on their duties.
  • Record scan parameters, MRI images and billing charges for every patient exam.
