- Check the welding equipment before starting to use such as: a) Welding Machine B) TIG Torch and accessories
- Checking the joint lap and make it sure that it is clean inside or outside the pipe before starting to weld
- Make correct welding gap before tracking Pre-half and joint a required temperature if it is needed
- Start Welding root pass by using 308 or 347 filter metal and be sure that the purging gas open if the pipe stainless
- Grind the surface of root pass to clean before star hot pass or another
- Making sure that the surface of welded joint is clean before filling on capping After the preparation be sure that the surface is clean before to start a final capping and make it sure that there no under-cut and are strike on both sided of welded joint
- Putting a windshield on a welding place to prevent a porosity rejection
- If starting the joint to root pass, be sure that you can finish it
- And don’t leave it if the root pass is not finish to prevent welded joint crack
- Clean the welded portion of the pipe by using a steel brush and write a cv code number welder near to the joint, so that it can be easily identify the welder whom made by the weld
