As an HADR Officer in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations, J7 of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, I am responsible for planning and coordinating the implementation of all HADR initiatives within our office. This involves close collaboration with various staff offices across the Armed Forces to ensure that our efforts are synchronized and effective.

During disaster situations, we actively engage in HADR-related activities, working in tandem with partner stakeholders, including local and international humanitarian organizations. Our collaborations are vital for delivering timely and effective assistance during calamities, ensuring that we leverage combined resources and expertise.

In addition to operational response, I am significantly involved in HADR capacity-building efforts. I partner with key organizations such as the Office of Civil Defense, the Center for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance, and United Nations humanitarian clusters. These partnerships enable us to enhance our capabilities and improve our response strategies.

Furthermore, I participate in various humanitarian training programs, both locally and internationally, to acquire advanced knowledge and skills in disaster management and relief operations. This continuous professional development ensures that I am well-equipped to handle the complexities of humanitarian crises and contribute effectively to our mission.
