· Responsible in the organization of Documents which includes, Bid documents, Billing Documents, Estimates and any other papers related to the project.

· Checking of Plans and Specifications before the implementation of the project

· Assessment of the Estimates per Item of Works to ensure that the budget is sufficient for the construction of the project.

· Manage the construction process which includes organizing people on-site and giving instructions to the personnel.

· In-charge in providing weekly Accomplishment Reports.

· Provides the Statement of Work Accomplished (SWA) on every billing period

· In charge in attending every meeting relevant to the project.

· Ascertains that all materials incorporated into the work pass the requirement of the DPWH Standard Specifications for Highways, Roads and Bridges, and Buildings to strictly comply with the Minimum Testing Requirements.

· Advices the Project Engineer on the acceptance or rejection of construction materials intended for use in the project based on test results.

· Recommends to the Project Engineer remedial measures for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions of materials.

· Checks/ certifies design mixes prepared by contractors for concrete and bituminous mixtures.

· Acquaints himself fully with the standard procedures of sampling, testing and control.

· Sees to it that the field laboratory equipped so that the progress of the work will not be impeded.

· Keeps a record of the daily activities ready for inspection anytime

· Submits within required time frame the test reports and other pertinent documents.
