• Provide professional occupational health nursing, first aid, and emergency medical services to employees, contractors, and community members.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff and clinic operations, ensuring efficient delivery of onsite healthcare services.
• Assess patients, obtain and document vital signs and clinical findings, initiate appropriate nursing interventions, and promptly communicate significant findings to site physicians.
• Manage medical emergencies, trauma cases, and community emergency calls, providing immediate care and coordinating referrals, ambulance transport, and continuity of care when required.
• Perform direct nursing care for ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients, including wound care, suctioning, patient positioning, feeding, hygiene care, and other prescribed interventions.
• Perform intravenous cannulation, urinary catheterization, and nasogastric tube (NGT) insertion as ordered and within scope of practice.
• Prepare and administer medications through prescribed routes, monitor patient responses, and document medication administration and adverse reactions accurately.
• Assist site physicians with medical examinations, clinical procedures, wound dressing, incision and drainage, and other treatment interventions using appropriate aseptic techniques.
• Review, develop, refine, and update occupational health and clinic policies, procedures, and protocols, coordinating their technical review and approval with site physicians and ensuring implementation at the clinic.
• Support compliance with occupational health and safety standards, company medical protocols, regulatory requirements, and established standard operating procedures.
• Implement and support workplace health programs, medical screenings, health surveillance, disease prevention initiatives, and employee wellness activities.
• Conduct alcohol breath testing for employees and contractors in accordance with company policies and established testing procedures.
• Conduct water potability testing of company and community water outlets and document results for health and safety monitoring.
• Manage clinic medications, medical supplies, equipment, inventories, and emergency response resources, ensuring availability, proper storage, and readiness for use.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and organized medical records, clinical documentation, reports, incident records, and health surveillance data.
• Provide health education and counselling to employees, patients, and families on disease prevention, treatment, workplace health, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Deliver training as an Emergency Response Team (ERT) Trainer, including AED, OxyViva-3 Resuscitator, and Basic First Aid training.
