Technical Management & Engineering Operations

• Lead the complete technical oversight of assigned vessels and support fleet‑wide initiatives to maintain peak operational readiness and engineering reliability.
• Develop, implement, and monitor strategic maintenance programs that optimize vessel performance and reduce downtime.
• Provide 24/7 technical support to onboard engineering teams, delivering solutions for propulsion, mechanical, electrical, and auxiliary system challenges.

Maintenance, Dry-Docking & Repairs

• Plan, supervise, and execute dry‑dockings, special surveys, and major repair projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and class requirements.
• Coordinate with shipyards, contractors, and technical service providers to achieve high‑quality repair standards and efficient project delivery.

Regulatory Compliance & Inspection Readiness

• Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, classification society rules, company SMS, environmental standards, and technical policies.
• Manage and prepare vessels for third‑party inspections including Oil Majors, Port State Control (PSC), Flag State, Class, Terminals, and P&I Clubs, achieving strong audit outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation, reporting, and tracking of vessel technical performance and compliance status.

Onboard Inspections & Performance Monitoring

• Conduct comprehensive onboard technical inspections to assess machinery condition, safety systems, operational procedures, and maintenance quality.
• Work closely with Masters and Chief Engineers to strengthen safety culture, maintenance discipline, and operational integrity.

Continuous Improvement & Leadership

• Drive technical initiatives aimed at improving reliability, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness of fleet operations.
• Promote best practices, training, and knowledge‑sharing to uplift fleet engineering performance and minimize technical incidents.
