Responsible for the overall management of the plant (2x169MW CFB Coal Fired Power Plant) maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of all plant equipment and facilities in accordance with maintenance strategies adopted by the Company to ensure efficient, reliable, and safe operation of all power plant equipment and auxiliaries.

Responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the 2x169MW Circulating Fluidized Bed Coal Power plant in accordance with Company policies, standards, and procedures and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations to safely and efficiently contribute to the attainment of the Company’s power generation objectives and targets.

Responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the 340 MW Circulating Fluidized Bed Coal-Fired Power Plant located at Toledo City, Cebu in accordance with Company policies, standards, and procedures and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations to safely and efficiently contribute in the attainment of the Company’s power generation objectives and targets.

• The role provides Asset Performance and Reliability leadership and guidance in all aspects of Coal Fired Power Plant covering Therma South Inc, a 2x150 MW CFB Coal Power Plant and Therma Visayas Inc., a 2 x 169 MW CFB Coal Power Plant. Working with the station based staff, overall improvements in performance will be identified and plans developed to deliver improved business performance.
• Created and optimized records management strategies to coordinate and protect information.
• Developed, tracked and analyzed variance of key performance measurements on Equivalent Availability Factor (EAF), Equivalent Unplanned Outage Factor (EUOF), Net Heat Rate (NHR) and other reliability indices.
• Spearheaded continuous improvement EAF, EUOF, NHR, and CBM initiatives to increase operational excellence and development.
• Improved team performance by implementing new KPI tracking systems and providing regular feedback.

Completed the management development program by successfully accomplishing the Power Generation Corporate Service Unit assignments, Geothermal Power Plant Business Unit assignments, Coal Power Plant Business Unit, Solar Power Plant Business Unit assignment, Run-off River and Large Hydro Power Plant Business Unit assignments, capstone project, assigned Online Courses and Coaching sessions to develop leadership, business, technical competencies.

Primarily responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the 4 x 12.5 MW Diesel Power Plant, auxiliary and general plant equipment ensuring that proper procedures are implemented according to the operations and maintenance manuals. Acts as the reliever of the Maintenance Manager in his absence.

Primarily responsible for providing logistical support to a 4 x 12.5MW Diesel Power Plant operations in terms of fuel requirement and stock items. The position also manages and supervises fuel, lube oil, chemicals receiving and monitoring activities, storage, warehousing and inventory, as well as management of the entire storage facility.

Primarily responsible for the monitoring, coordination and implementation of major preventive maintenance services of the 4 x 12.5MW Diesel power plant to optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, tools, spare parts, materials and supplies.

This position is responsible for carrying out the minor and major mechanical Preventive Maintenance and corrective maintenance of a 4x12.5 MW Diesel Power Plant major equipment and auxiliaries which includes dismantling, cleaning, inspection, reconditioning, replacement, and re-installation of parts in accordance with the industry standards of maintenance practices.

Operation and Maintenance of a patented Polyethylene Plastic sheet extruder.

• Provided extensive support to Petrochemical Plant Design project in all aspects of piping design for Middle East client.
• Review piping designs systems to assess quality and condition.
• Conducted thorough piping stress analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards and prevent potential failures.
