· Provides prompt and courteous customer service. Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately. Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards. Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
· Manage transactions with customers using cash registers. Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate. Collect payments whether in cash or credit. Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets. Redeem stamps and coupons. Cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
· Ordering stock needed for the store checking all available items and updating and ordering promos. Monthly checking for the expiry dates of the food products and for the fresh foods are daily checked.
· Receiving deliveries making sure there are no damaged goods and the deliver receipt are all complete and no discrepancies.
· Greeting customers, collecting payments, using scanning devices, answering to customer inquiries, accepting customer returns, and counting the money in the cash drawer, operating the cash register.
· Handling food preparation and drinks, packaging food items for takeaways, rotating stored food to retain freshness, managing cleanliness and sanitation, and handling customer complaints, processed all sales transactions accurately and promptly to prevent long customer wait times.
· Also, as a crew member should have the ability to clearly list out the daily menu, be able to operate the electronic devices, be aware of the items available at the counter and demonstrate outstanding customer serving skills. They should also be punctual and professional. Crew members don’t need any formal education as a good level of experience replaces an academic background.
