  • Performing an initial assessment of tenders received to determine the size and scope of the project and sourcing additional information as required from the client.
  • Providing a summary of the project to the manager, including the statement of work (SOW), estimated project size, and risks and opportunities.
  • Act as a connection between subcontractors, the design team (architects, engineers, consultants), and the client.
  • Study tender BOQ, quantity take-offs, and sending inquiries to the subcontractors' vendors to get competitive quotations.
  • Studying architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and specifications to estimate total costs and preparing detailed cost plans and estimates as tools to assist in budgetary control.
  • To assess the required resources, such as material, equipment, and manpower, and define the scope of work based on the provided tender documents and technical study.
  • Determine required but non-indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents (plans, specifications, etc.).
  • Analyze vendor technical offers and commercial, as well as given project specifications and standards, to ascertain if scope is covered and manage the risk of scope gaps.
