1) Electrical & Mechanical


  • PG8 Q3'18 LRP CAPACITY UPGRADE (CUB 1) 2019- 2020
  • PG8 Q3'19 LRP PB & Oct'19 CR (CUB 2) 2020 - 2021


All the above projects were successfully handed over to customers (INTEL PG8) without any major escalations, violations, injuries, issues.


2)Aspen Glove Phase 1 (2021)


The scope was to carry out Test & Commission and prepare handover Doc.

  • To perform Insulation Test, Continuity Test, Polarity Test this is to verify any wire or equipment faulty.
  • To carry out simulation test on Gen Set for Power Failure (800KVA)
  • Performs operational, preventive maintenance and checklist on all Plant facilities equipment & systems.


3) Sustion (Simmtech) Batu Kawan (2021)


The scope was to Hook up a total of 249 Tools at this new plant at Batu Kawan which need to run concurrently with Base Build Construction.

  • To Prepare the hookup tools Schedule.
  • Project duration is 3.5 Months start date 1st Jan2022 -18th April 2022
  • To perform Insulation Test, Continuity Test, Polarity Test this is to verify any wire or equipment faulty.


4) AMS OSRAM KUL2 Kulim (2022 Present)


The scope was to installation few Package.

  • Package F 23A DDUPS 2 unit 11KV
  • Package M 66D 2 unit 11KV Genset
  • Package F21 B Bus Duct Installation to support production at EPI L1 & FAB L2.
  • Attending on line FAT for TX, Switch Gear, Genset .
  • Delivery and arrange all the TX, Genset, DDUPS , Switch Gear and MSB
  • To carry out Test & Commission and prepare handover Doc.

Project Engineer

Accomplishments

  • Responsible for overall KMCO CS Project Tool Install activities, provides project/construction planning and management to support factory ramps and layout retrofits. Manages cross-functional teams, comprising of EHS, CMS, PCG, Engineering to achieve project goals.
  • Manage KMCO Tool Install project including AT Consolidation, POR tools install and output Max challenge. A total of 231 installs and 58 Demos have been managed and progress monitored throughout 2010. This almost 200% scope increase compared to previous year. Supported multiple construction pull-in requests throughout the year to support cross products as Arrandale, Cougarpoint, Ibexpeak, Penryn HVM, Sodaville) total cost for the hookup 1.7M.
  • Provided Project leadership to lead/manage construction in support of business LRP on various base builds/PB due to one of the PM resigning for the Job so I start the job from KMCO Consol project total Cost is 9.8M and zero safety incident and zero ITP. The total manpower is 100,233. This request is for the installation/extension of facility systems driven by the AT Consolidation Project (addition of CPU platform) and the Q1 LRP supporting Q4’10 EC.AT Consol Scope is valued at $1.37M (Boxboro, Cantiga, Eaglelake, Penryn ETS, Tylersburg) and LRP driven scope is valued at $7.74M (Arrandale, Cougarpoint, Ibexpeak, Penryn HVM, Sodaville).
  • Q4’09 Progressive Build Project:KM2: Progressive build MEP POC distribution & AWN system capacity upgrade to support Lincroft HVM EC ramp from 2.2Mu in Q3’10 to 8.8Mu in Q1’11 and support Penwell start-up in Q1’11 total cost is 156K and total manpower is 10,728 with zero safety incident with zero ITP.
  • Q1’10 Progressive Build project: To support capacity from Q4’10 to Q2’11 per the Q1’10 LRP.KMO /KM1 requires $197K formultiple electrical panel modifications& additional mechanical distribution to support Cedarview HVM (7.6Mu).KMO/KM2 requires $8K for additional electrical & mechanical POC to support Penwell HVM ( 0.14Mu) and incremental EC for Lincroft (from 1Mu to 2.6Mu) KM5 requires $51K (100% Funded vs 25%) to pull in envisaged Q3 ’10 factory shutdown into Q2 ’10 as sole factory shutdown in WW22 to support 2010 OM by 431Ku This entails additional electrical & mechanical, IT POC to support 22 tools ( 10 new , 12 relocated ) total cost is 256K and total man power is 9,718 with zero safety incident and zero ITP.
  • Coordination of ALGO/QAQC Resources: To ensure that we have the headcount to support the project by quarterly for PB and IQ and also provide us a good quality job.
  • Malaysia Site Controls: Responsibility is to align internal control effort with risk assessment and external/internal audits objectives. (i.e., quality of contents? Audits Readiness) with the team and focus on planning and strategic collaboration between cross functional groups at our site. (i.e., ethics events, cross dept self-assessment audit/RA sharing etc.).

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

  • Responsible for the coordination of CS(Cooperate Service)project activities while meeting safety time and budget goals and to provide site coordination with facilities and vendor includes application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities in order to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.
  • To provide the optimum concept and design by studying of proposed layout and Infrastructure requirements requested by users.
  • Site studies, design, evaluation, carrying out technical comparisons, coordination and supervision of respective projects in accordance with the planned objectives, cost, schedule and desired results.
  • Ensure the infra services availability and reliability for all newly installed/ relocated production equipment.
  • To be the liaison person between the Facilities department, end users, architects, consultants, specialists, suppliers, vendors, and a member in a cross functional team for plant expansion and renovation projects
  • Responsible to prepare bidding documents, participates in bidding exercise, supervision at site, buy off and handover process.


1) Result Orientation & ITP & Safety


  • Manage all PG8 Tool Install (~RM4M) to support PG8 business and mission as ‘preferred pilot factory’. All project executed within CPA schedule, cost and scope, 0 project related ITP, and no major project/safety issues.
  • Manage all PG8 TI, supported HVM for Prescott-T, dual-core Smithfield, single core Cedarmill 1264 products. Tool install are 4nos LCBI, 88nosCMT, 4nos NGCAM w/DSC, 6nos Blue-M22kw, total Project Cost of RM 4.0M, aggressive start up, 0 Safety & ITP incident. The tool installs activities received recognition not only form CS but customer, recognition as below list;

a. Site Recognition of Q1’05 support Piloted LCBI PG8

b. Recognition from PG8 PMO for 1264 Presler Dual Core for significant milestone by being the 1st ATM factory to ship 65nm product.


c. Site Recognition for support Piloted NGCAM w/DSC, met the aggressive start-up schedule & CSIs with >11,000man-Hr incident and injury free.


d. Site Recognition of CMT IQ Ramp Team from Flip Chip Steering Committee.


e. Customer recognition for support Piloted Smithfield dual Core.


2) Project Leadership + Cost Avoidance (> $230K)

  • Lead and managed overall project and construction for PG8 Progressive Build Project to support business LRP within schedule, cost and scope. Progressive build supported such as;
  • Lead and manage Q1’05 PG8/KM1 Progress Build Project (~RM2M), manage overall PG8 project execution including design, PrEP and construction management. Through reuse existing DBs/transformers and VE for upgrade exist. AHU resulted in cost saving $130K.
  • Lead and manage overall Q2’05’ PG8/KM1 Progress Build (~RM4.0M), CPA Project scope development and cost estimation for PG8. Manage overall PG8 project execution including design, PrEP and construction management. Cost saving $100K thru reuse existing RODI drainage system and modify existing DBs/transformers.
  • Support the Q3’05’ PG8/KM1 Progress Build CPA Project scope development and cost estimation for PG8 (~RM4.0M). Managed overall PG8 Project design, contract strategy and construction management.


3) VF Support

  • Participate and support VF activities, provide ideas, strategy and technical support to improve future PG8 TI business productivity. Define future big tool move-in strategy, avoiding potential safety issue, and lowering logistic cost.
  • Provide solution for ‘huge’ tool move-in and intact tool move by an easy hook-up modular structure and lifting platform at PG8. Which idea is being converted to permanent structure.
  • Provide solution for CMT number surge due to Smithfield by re-layout to LCE area.
  • Provided technical solution on dew-point issue for LCBI due to EDS error. Through infiltration elimination and dew-point control by re-heat and desiccant dehumidification. (Eliminate false ceiling cost of ~RM250K and shutdown)
  • PCW3 & 4 load transfer that avoided PCW base-build capacity upgrade. (avoidance ~RM 400K)
  • Managed to identify a flow constraint at PCW 3 flow due to inappropriate PCW filter being used, avoiding issue during LCBI tool start-up.
  • Proactive planning of shutdown required for LCE and Q3’04 Progressive Build to avoid as possible cold down during year 2005.
  • Proactive planning of shutdown required for Q1’05 & Q2’05 Progressive Build cold down during year 2005


4) Customer Orientation.

  • Contribute PG8 manufacturing project and layout planning. Provide ideas and solution for PG8 space optimization. Support CSM programs. Project completed such as;
  • CMT space compaction 3.8/k and re-layout managed and successfully relocated 44nos CMT to free up space of gain 3 CMT spaces without impacted existing Facilities.
  • Moved MPPV to second floor, relocation 3 Deflux and 6 epoxy to make spaces for Paxville HVI improvement. Total Project Cost RM 3.0M with support PG8 piloted 1264.
  • Co-author for 1 IMEC paper submitted for CSM, promoting CSM and CSC Asia.
  • Lead CSM SPGC control task force, carried out risk assessment and action plan and close.
