I am an Associate Professor II at Western Mindanao State University, where my teaching, research, and extension work intersect at the nexus of science, service, and systems change. My academic grounding in mental health nursing and health informatics allows me to explore innovative approaches to education and healthcare, while ensuring that my work remains deeply anchored in the needs of vulnerable populations.
As a nurse educator, I continue to innovate by developing instructional modules and customized student workbooks to enrich the training of future nurses. Beyond the classroom, I work closely with local government units, health agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure that research translates into policy and practice. Aligning my projects with both national R&D priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals, I am committed to producing scholarly work that not only contributes to the academic field but also drives meaningful and sustainable impact in society.
