- Manages and directs over-all performance of the security team; External (Military Augmented Forces) and Internal (Private Security Personnel) Security Team, in support to the safe completion of BBGPP Project.
- Plans, develops, and recommends necessary courses of action pertaining to the security of the project site by conducting a risk assessment, gap analysis, identification of threats on both internal and external aspects, and applying the different avenues for risk mitigation and best practices adapted by different companies.
- Oversees and develops work schedules, allocating tasks, and monitors security personnel’s performance.
- Develops and/or improves current standard operating procedures, security process flows and policies in alignment with the project site’s needs and EDC’s policies while ensuring its implementation within the site.
- Updates the current security risk assessment by liaising with different counter insurgency units of the AFP and PNP, whose AORs are within the 20-km guardzone of BBGPP Project site for the purpose benefitting the protection of the project site’s assets.
- Creates and develops a training program for the security force in alignment with EDC’s requirements and BBGPP’s plans and programs.
- Initiates and leads security investigation when appropriate.
- Coordinates and teams up with all relevant third party entities (AFP, PNP, CSIS, PDEA, Barangay) in support to external activities such as Equipment Escorting, Executive Protection, Background Investigation, and other concerns requiring the extended support of our security partners.
- Ensures security of all personnel who will be working at internal, external and critical areas through cascades during security orientation and provision of security escorts if necessary.
- Acts as the ground commander during Executive Protection Duties for VIPs and DVs (Distinguished Visitors) by devising a security plan, with an intensified protection plan in mind, while organizing and directing its details during execution phase.
- Ensures effectiveness and efficiency of overall security system in-place by monitoring and revising, if necessary, the implemented layers of security for the purpose of detection, deterrence, delay, denial, and neutralization of intercepted security risks.
