As a health care professional I am currently working at the Barangay Health station under the Municipal Health Office.I can do or perform the duties and responsibilities as a Midwife, I can assist a mother delivering their babies, Immunization to babies,health education to the pregnant women, post partum care, taking care for the Senior citizens in their health conditions like the hypertensive patients.

• Administered medications, resulting in effective pain management during labour.
• Implemented quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety standards.
• Provided postnatal support, educating families on infant care and breastfeeding techniques.
• Collaborated with healthcare teams to develop individualized birth plans for clients.
• Analyzed patient feedback to refine service delivery processes within the clinic setting.
• Wrote patient care plans after assessing and monitoring expectant mothers and developing fetuses.
• Advised and supported parents after miscarriage, termination and stillbirth.
• Took patient samples, checked temperatures and monitored blood pressure and pulse, fostering patient health.
• Gave vaccinations according to NHS immunisation schedule safeguarding infants against infectious diseases.
• Supported daily care of baby, advising new mothers on feeding, bathing and breast feeding techniques.
• Provided emotional support for reduced stress during labour.

After my work at the BLGU, I worked as CARE GIVER to an old woman at Haliap, Asipulo, Ifugao. I did feeding, bathing, I accompanied and assisted her in her everyday needs.

After graduating my Midwifery course and passed my licensure examination I tried to apply at the BLGU to work and gain knowledge in doing such things like cleaning the whole unit of the Barangay.I enjoyed and learned much with that work.
