Act as the first point of contact for workers to provide guidance, advice, and assistance on welfare-related concerns such as accommodation, working conditions, health, and safety.
Ensure that all workers are placed in compliant and safe working environments by conducting regular checks (DMW-OWMS) Monitor and report on workplace safety standards.
Address worker grievances and resolve complaints or issues related to their placements, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Ensure that all complaints are documented and escalated as necessary.
Provide pre-employment welfare briefings for workers, ensuring they are well-informed about their rights, responsibilities, and the working conditions they can expect.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of worker welfare cases, incidents, and interventions. Prepare regular reports on worker well-being for senior management and regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure that the welfare of workers is integrated into recruitment processes, including during worker selection and briefing.
