- In my capacity as a staff nurse, I deliver direct nursing care while assessing the specific needs of patients. My responsibilities encompass admitting patients, inputting their data into the hospital information system (anzer), and maintaining precise records in the admission and discharge logbook. Collaborate with nursing staff to supervise all patient services and work closely with physicians to effectively plan patient care activities.
- I execute physician orders and manage requests for laboratory tests, x-rays, ultrasounds, and CT scans at the appropriate facilities. Furthermore, prepare patients for and assist physicians during diagnostic, therapeutic, and minor surgical procedures, as well as support physicians during patient examinations. Diligently document and chart initial and stat medications and treatments administered. Ensure a comprehensive handover of patients and their charts to the on-duty nurse in the ward. Additionally, performing other duties as assigned by my immediate supervisor.
- Utilized advanced nursing skills such as IV insertion, wound care management, EKG interpretation, splinting/casting application among others to provide exceptional patient-centered care.
