Performing duties including physician review coordination, contacting the specialty care providers, analyzing the needed management for the patient, and provide an entry of certifications/denials of the clients needed managements. Proved successful working within tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment. Gained extensive knowledge in data entry, analysis, and reporting.

For being a company nurse, this is my part-time job during week ends to avoid conflict of my regular work.

One of my tasks being a company nurse has included: administered medical testing and vision and hearing screening to identify risks to health and improve well-being among staff. Monitored patient reactions after administering medications and IV therapies. Explained course of care and medication side effects to patients and caregivers in easy-to-understand terms. Performed triage on incoming patients and determined severity of injuries and illnesses.

Peñaranda Birthing Center- Ormoc City

In the early months of being a maternity staff nurse, I was assigned at both clinic and labor room/ delivery room (LR/DR).

For being assigned as a maternity staff nurse in a birthing center, I am assigned to monitor and assessed mother and the baby before and after delivery. Conducted examinations to determine fetal station, cervical dilation and effacement. Assisted mothers in establishing breastfeeding relationships with infants with proper latching demonstrations. Communicated with healthcare team members to plan, implement and enhance treatment strategies. Educated new parents on how to properly care for infants by instructing parents on bottle feeding, bathing, circumcision care and breastfeeding.
