Ensures that the policies and procedures of the pharmacy are being followed.
Provides the overall supervision of the activities of the pharmacy services of comparatively large general or special hospitals.
Acts as secretary of the Therapeutics Committee. Prepares minutes of the meeting, documents or report needed.
Monitors the contract of all the suppliers and receives proposal of new suppliers from drug inclusion.
Responsible in renewing the S3 license and recording of all dangerous drugs which will be kept for a period of time and submits semi-annual report to PDEA (Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency).
Prepares the requisition for the medicines to be procured from different drug supplier as approved by the pharmacy head and therapeutics committee.
Provides drug information as needed to the medical and nursing staff.
Responsible in maintaining adequate supplies in Pharmacy.
