Pre-op. Responsibilities:
· Identify the Patient.
· Explaining to patients, the phase in perioperative period and expectation.
· Initiates initial preoperative assessment.

· Verifies understating surgeon-specific preoperative orders (bowel preparation, preoperative shower, NPO before surgery).

Nurse for 3 months in the different wards of the hospital with stipend of PHP 8,000 per month.
As a Volunteer nurse, I provided quick and accurate nursing assessments and care to pediatric
patients within the acute care/urgent/emergent care setting bed side care to each patient. We
get the supplies from the Central Supply Room then prepare our dressing trolley. Thence take
our patients’ vital signs and give their medications afterwards.
