Pre-op. Responsibilities:

· Identify the Patient.

· Explaining to patients, the phase in perioperative period and expectation.

· Initiates initial preoperative assessment.

· Verifies completion of preoperative testing/ labs.

· Verifies understating surgeon-specific preoperative orders (bowel preparation, preoperative shower, NPO before surgery).

· Assess risk for postoperative complications.

· Reports unexpected findings or any deviation from normal.

· Authorized by the Bureau of Quarantine to perform swabbing to overseas workers returning to- and from- the Philippines.

· Successfully participated with Biosafety and Infection Control Workshops for handling CoVID-19 cases.
