As a Ship Nurse, capable of rendering general medical emergency procedures and protocol onboard. Responsible in assisting Ship Doctor in promoting wellness of passenger and crew’s shipboard health. Competent in performing first aid, basic and advanced cardiac life support, inserting and providing intravenous fluid, surgical stitching of minor cuts and wound as well as wound care. Knowledgeable in basic lifesaving equipment and ensures all is fully operational and ready to use. Assists Doctors in ensuring all documents, reports and logbooks are properly maintained. Assist Doctors in Narcotic count, medicine and medical supply inventory onboard. In charge of onboard pharmacy. Conducts medical induction and training to newly joined crew. Water tests onboard for E.Coli. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies.
