Ø Assess PO (purchase order) needed and request customer to support the current monthly sales forecast.

Ø Production Planner is responsible for scheduling and control of Production plan which is based on Sales Forecast and Customer Requirements.

Ø Coordinated arrival of components with purchasing and receiving departments and expedited orders to ensure timely delivery to clients.

Ø Monitoring of daily plan schedule based on plan and ensure that it is aligned to machine, manpower and tooling capacity.

Ø Modified inventory levels as required and created safety stocks and minimum order quantities for designated areas.

Ø Responsible for assessing current week volume upside.

Ø Review weekly forecast and highlight any issue in supporting customer requirements.

Ø Inform the critical lots and WIP ageing report to operations group.

Ø Inform potential misses one day before the actual shipment and advise customer for recovery plan.

Ø Ensure and provide customer satisfaction to the highest level, via email, phone, and/or client visits.

Ø Ensure that committed ship date to customer is attainable.
