For me, being an ESL teacher/tutor is not just about teaching grammar or words. It is about building a good and the best connection with my students. One of my most unforgettable moments happened when one of my students came all the way to visit me here in Davao City. We used to see each other only on the computer screen during our online classes. We laughed, we learned, and we shared stories every day. But seeing them in person, walking in my city, was a completely different feeling. It made me realize that even though we were far apart, the bond we built was strong enough to bring them here. That moment meant the world to me. It showed that I didn't just teach them English; I became someone important to them. That visit is my biggest accomplishment as a teacher. It proves that good teaching comes from the heart, and that distance is never a barrier when you truly care for your students.
