Justine Alexandra Gotinga

I’m a Grade 11 student passionate about justice, creativity, and meaningful communication. I aspire to become a lawyer who stands up for others and creates positive change. From starting my charity, Smile Box, at age 6 to speaking on-air with my dad, I’ve learned how to lead, connect, and stay grounded in my values.

I express my love for storytelling through fashion, photography, and writing—as a hoodie designer, photographer, and contributor to Forward. Whether I’m creating or collaborating, I aim to make a difference and grow into a future-ready, thoughtful lawyer.

Problem-Solving

• Served as a makeup artist for Brent International School’s production of The Addams Family—used makeup techniques to creatively transform student actors into theatrical characters.
• Member of the Photography Club at De La Salle Zobel; covered school fairs and events with published photo features—practiced visual composition and storytelling.
• Edited videos for school presentations and creative projects using CapCut or iMovie , combining music, transitions, and visual themes for engaging storytelling.

IT Skills

• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets) for school projects and collaborative work.
• Familiar with basic design tools like Canva for digital posters and CapCut for video editing.
• Beginner-level web designing using Wix, creating visually engaging and purposeful online pages

Communication

• Comfortable speaking in front of groups and active in listening and responding thoughtfully.
• Selected as a contributor for Forward, showcasing reflective and well-structured writing.
• Speaks occasionally on-air as a guest on my father's radio program, developing poise and articulation in real-time conversations

Teamwork

• Organized and led the Smile Box charity initiative, coordinating with friends, family, and volunteers to pack and distribute care boxes to children in need—demonstrating collaboration, leadership, and compassion from a young age.
