My name is Justin Schneider and I am a bilingual IBDP graduate and soon-to-be student at the University of Vienna. My main interests currently lie in scientific and pure mathematics as well as quantitative analysis in finance or insurances. I am ecstatic to be starting a Bachelors degree in Mathematics at the University of Vienna in October 2024. I am a very fast learner and have an insatiable hunger for problem-solving. On top of that, I have years of hobbyist, and now professional, programming experience in different areas and have no trouble learning any necessary languages or frameworks. This extends to any other job-related skills, for instance in finance or insurance.

In my free time, I've created multiple projects using C++, Python, Elm, JavaScript (React, Express)
- These include computer vision projects (Python OpenCV), electronics projects (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Python) such as a wireless door lock - which can be controlled over a WiFi network (MQTT) and an autonomous delivery robot which transports filtered water to different drop-off points at school (AruCo markers)
- On top of that, I have experience in front-end and back-end web development in JavaScript and Elm, creating interfaces for the electronics projects
- I have also self-taught basic C and C++ programming and worked a bit on Cyber Security in C.
- I've also taken an online course in Data Analysis & ML learning technologies, such as pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy and matplotlib.
