• Customer Management. Provide Intensive training of End Users (Health Practitioners) for Technical Machine Operations and Troubleshooting Assistance. Responsiveness to calls of customer that needs support.
• Efficient execution of planned activities such as product presentation, product demonstration resulting to account conversion and installation.
• Helped out in Marketing strategies, activities and materials.
• Did troubleshooting on-site and/or thru phone and follow up the next day.

* Responsible for proper specimen collection according to the test required.

* Prepares reagents and samples for testing.

* Performs a variety of chemical, hematological, immunological and/or bacteriological testing in assigned section in accordance with established working standards.

* Records results and key in to the laboratory’s database

* Performs blood collection by venipuncture, capillary and extraction of blood donors, collecting of samples for neonatal screening, entry of information in the laboratory computer system, receipt and initial processing of non blood laboratory specimen.

* Receives the specimen and verifies the correctness of information and integrity of samples.

* Operates, calibrates and conducts performance checks on clinical laboratory equipment.

* Performs clinical chemistry, hematology, serological tests as requested by the physicians.

* Performs daily temperature check, maintenance, calibration of refrigerated centrifuges and blood mixer.

* Do weekly inventory for all consumables and reagents and reports to my immediate supervisor for further action.

* Trains and evaluate new staff, making sure they are competent to do their duties.

* Performs moderate to complex immunohematological testing using gel column agglutination such as ABO grouping, ABO subgroup typing, Rh typing, antibody detection, antibody identification, antibody titration,compatibility testing, red blood cell antigen typing, DAT, and antibody elution.

* Blood Component preparation such as leukocyte-reduced Red Blood Cells, leukocyte-reduced Platelet Concentrates, Fresh Frozen Plasma and Cryoprecipitate.

* Performs scheduled QC for blood and blood products as well as daily QC for reagents prior to testing.

* Performs automated and manual testing for Cell identification, WBC count, WBC differential, hemoglobin, hematocrit, erythrocyte count, RBC indices, platelet count & retic count.

* Performs testing for the following analytes; Activated partial thromboplastin time, fibrinogen, INR, Prothrombin time, D-Dimer, Fibrin degradation products (Plasma), Protein C & S, von Willebrand factor antigen,Lupus Anticoagulant and Mixing Studies,Factors II, V, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, and XIII.

* Hemoglobin electrophoresis, sickling test (qualitative) and body fluid RBC/WBC count and WBC differential.

* Performs Viral Markers testing (HBsAg, HbcAg, HBeAg),Nucleic Acid Testing for Donors (HIV, HBV, HCV), Infectious Disease Serological Testing (CMV, HSV, EBV, H. pylori, Mumps, Rubeola virus)

Performs Tumor marker,Comprehensive Lupus Panel including ANA, Anti-DsDNA, Anti-cardiolipin, Syphilis serology, complement (C3/C4), HS-CRP

* Performs routine and complex Metabolite panels, Serum Iron Studies, Immunoglobulin

analysis, Cardiac Biomarkers, pancreatic panel, and Neonatal bilirubin.

* Chemistry test on body fluids, random & 24-Hour urine collection and Osmolality.

* Performs therapeutic Drug Monitoring and determination of substance of abuse in urine and serum.

* Performs endocrinology testing (β HCG Quantitation, PSA, TSH panel, AFP, Ferritin, Cortisol)

* Performs manual and automated Urine Analysis (Chemical and Microscopic Examinations)

* Performs Apt’s Test, Occult Blood, Bence-Jones Protein, Parasite Identification, Worm Identification (Concentration Method, Kato-Thick Method, Wet Mount, Giemsa-stained blood smear and Thin/Thick blood film)
