- Prepared, designed, revised and verified various technical drawings and instrument deliverables such as Instrument Index, Instrument IO Database, Instrument Cable and Drum Schedule, Instrument Cable Gland Schedule and JB Schedule, Cause and Effect Diagram, Interlock Logic Diagram, Control System Narrative, Interlock Logic Test Report, Layout of Instrument Main Cable Routing, Layout of Instrument Main Cable and Ladder, Layout of Field Instrument, Layout of Gas Detectors, Instrument Installation Detail, Instrument Hook Up Drawing, Instrument Pressure Piping/Tubing Hook Up, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrument Junction Box Termination, Instrument Grounding Details, Instrument Earthing Layout at Main Substation, Pump Suction Pressure Set Point Calculation, Instrument Set Point List and Instrument Datasheets.
- Performed loop checking on smart transmitters/field instruments like DP transmitter (for flow measurement) as well as pressure and temperature transmitters. Ensured accurate integration with DCS system based on provided loop drawing packages and schedule.
- Verified system logic, configured range settings, and determined alarm set points in DCS as per instrument datasheets.
- Coordinated with the Yokogawa DCS Engineer to prepare, check, and verify interlock logic diagrams and pump process logic in the DCS based on interlock logic diagram and control system philosophy documents.
- Conducted testing of DCS interlock and functional aspects for various systems including demineralized water, raw water, and cooling water based on control system documents and cause-effect diagrams.
- Conducted rigorous testing of emergency shutdown device located at C5, SMUF and CCP3 CCR to ensure prompt mitigation of potential hazards via synchronized closure of shutoff valves and tripping off C5 pumps.
- Ensured accuracy of interlock logic documents and functional test reports

- Collaborated with Project Superintendent to develop accurate as built records, enhance system uptime and refine test schedules.
- Designed and prepared documents for modifying cooling water pump bearing temperature indication to DCS.

Project: MOC Works in TSD-2015

Responsibilities:
- Recalibrated smart DP transmitters utilizing Hart 475 Field Communicator for flow measurement in MOC-04, MOC-28 and MOC-32 to align with instrument datasheet values and ranges.
- Checked loop from smart DP flow transmitter and pressure transmitter in MOC-04, MOC-08, MOC-28, and MOC-32 to the DCS at the main control room using Hart 475 Field Communicator.
- Tested and simulated signal transmissions from various transmitters to the DCS including IOP tests for MOC-04, MOC-08, MOC-28, and MOC-32 in the main control room.
- Configured DCS for range settings and description of smart DP flow transmitter and pressure transmitter in MOC-04, MOC-08, MOC-28, and MOC-32 at main control room using loop drawing packages and instrument datasheets.

Project: Plantwide Siren and Fire Fighting System

- Installed and organized cable trays, conduits, instrument stanchion, and supports
- Installed and organized layout for various multi-core and single pair cables
- Installed release panel, pressure switch, solenoid valve and push button switch
- Conducted wiring and termination activities for pressure switch, solenoid valve, release panel, junction box, and marshalling cabinet.
- Executed wiring and termination tasks for ISBL to OSBL fire and gas alarm panel with optimal precision
- Supervised and led a team of instrument technicians and fitters to facilitate plant instrumentation construction.
- Conducted comprehensive loop checking and continuity testing for various instruments spanning across field, Junction Box, and Yokogawa marshalling cabinet
