  • Wedu is a feminist organisation that believes every woman deserves the chance to lead. Wedu enable women leaders in South and Southeast Asia through providing leadership development programmes, a community of support, and education funding.
  • Wedu envisioned a world where half of all leaders are women. Rising Stars are women leaders in the Wedu community who are deeply committed to their personal and professional growth. These women have invested extensive time and energy into developing their leadership skills by participating in training and mentorship at Wedu. Through this dedication, they have defined leadership for themselves and taken action to implement their visions as new women leaders.

Indigenous Voices Fellowship

November 2024 - December 2025

  • Indigenous Voices Fellowship is a programme by Dialogue Earth to support Indigenous journalists and storytellers to report on climate change from their perspectives. As part of my participation in the program, I wrote an article about the environmental and cultural impacts of “development” in the ancestral domain of the Matigsalug tribe in Kitaotao, Bukidnon, Philippines, which in recent years has been significantly reshaped by infrastructure projects, particularly the construction of roads for tourism.
  • As part of our participation in the fellowship, we covered the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP30) in Belém Brazil as Indigenous Journalist for Dialogue Earth.

The Global Youth Climate Training

  • The Global Youth Climate Training Programme (GYCT) is a free, fully online capacity development programme that equips people aged 16-35 with the knowledge and confidence necessary to engage in international climate policy. This project is a collaboration between the Global Youth Coalition (GYC), a coalition of climate youth changemakers, and researchers at the University of Oxford (Oxford Net Zero, Oxford Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment).

Mindanao Young Leaders Programme (MinYLP)

  • The Mindanao Young Leaders Programme (MinYLP) is a capacity-sharing programme for emerging young community leaders from Civil Society Organisations in Mindanao region of Philippines. Each year, ten participants are selected to further develop their knowledge, skills and confidence as leaders, enabling them to actively contribute to the sustainable and peaceful development of their communities and, more broadly, of Mindanao
  • MinYLP is managed by UnionAID in collaboration with Victoria University of Wellington | Te Herenga Waka and Interfacing Development Interventions for Sustainability (IDIS), and supported by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade | Manatū Aorere as part of its Aotearoa New Zealand’s International Development Cooperation Programme | Nga Hoe Tuputupumai-Tawhiti.
