Juan Carlos Borromeo

• Recommends, coordinates, and executes Philippine foreign policy on bilateral relations with the countries of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam. (As Acting Director of the Office of Asian Pacific Affairs from June 2020 to present)
• Represents the Philippines as Alternate Representative to the United Nations and other international and intergovernmental organizations, engages and liaises with government officials of the host country to strengthen bilateral relations with the Philippines, assists high-level inbound delegations, and provides assistance to and ensures the protection of the rights overseas Philippine nationals in the country of jurisdiction. (As Third Secretary, Vice Consul, and Alternate Representative at the Embassy of the Philippines in Bangkok, Thailand from January 2020 to May 2020)

· Represents the Philippines as Alternate Representative to the United Nations and other international and intergovernmental organizations, engages and liaises with government officials of the host country to strengthen bilateral relations with the Philippines, assists high-level inbound delegations, and provides assistance to and ensures the protection of the rights overseas Philippine nationals in the country of jurisdiction. (As Third Secretary, Vice Consul, and Alternate Representative at the Embassy of the Philippines in Bangkok, Thailand from March 2018 to January 2020 and at the Embassy and Permanent Mission of the Philippines in Vienna, Austria from March 2014 to March 2018)

· Represents the Philippines as Alternate Representative to the United Nations and other international and intergovernmental organizations, engages and liaises with government officials of the host country to strengthen bilateral relations with the Philippines, assists high-level inbound delegations, and provides assistance to and ensures the protection of the rights overseas Philippine nationals in the country of jurisdiction. (As Third Secretary, Vice Consul, and Alternate Representative at the Embassy and Permanent Mission of the Philippines in Vienna, Austria from March 2014 to January 2015)

· Oversaw the financial management operations of the Department of Foreign Affairs, specifically financial policy planning, budget preparation, budget execution, accounting, financial control, and cash management. (As Principal Assistant, then Acting Director, then Acting Executive Director of the Office of Fiscal Management from January 2012 to March 2014)

• Underwent the mandatory cadetship training for new Foreign Service Officers. (From July 2011 to January 2012)

• Responsible for engaging potential corporate partners and buyers of and managing the rollout and development of the bank's first offline contactless electronic payment product.
• Underwent training from April to November 2009.

• As credit analyst, performed background investigation on and evaluated the credit-worthiness of retail credit card applicants.
• As business analyst, prepared and generated reports and analyses on the metrics and statistics of the bank's card banking businesses.
