Manages movement, distribution and storage of Raw Materials and Finished Goods

• Directs discharging of Raw Materials for both Domestic and Foreign Vessel to prevent or minimize demurrage
• Explores ideal shipping techniques, routing and carriers and propose to management for execution
• Analyses freight cost on periodic basis to attain least cost routes without compromising serviceability to customers
• Ensures on time delivery of Raw Materials, Feeds to Farms, Live Animals to Processing Plant and Finished Good to customers
• Provides real-time information to management in terms of weather related and suggests plans and programs to reduces losses
• Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs
• Manages team of inventory or warehouses employees under co-owned and external facilities
• Ensures accurate and timely recording of all inventory transactions
• Analyzes daily product and supply level to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
• Develops ways to optimize inventory control and procedures ensuring compliance with all warehouse processes and procedures
• Assures cycle counts are completed timely and accurately and conduct monthly physical count
• Facilitates timely disposal of condemned raw materials and finished goods
• Reports to upper management on stock level
• Develops policies and standards that is acceptable to current operation and stake holders
• Trains staffs in loss prevention, reduce shrinkage, and use tagging and/or report mechanisms
• Audits sites to ensure inventory is processed handled and monitored appropriately
• Investigates, logs and resolves issues on excessive shrinkages, material losses and Dean on Arrival (DOA)s on timely manner
• Communicates with upper management to act appropriately and legally
• Prepares yearly budget presents it to upper management for approval
• Evaluates budgets and expenditures projection
• Analyses actual charges vs budget on regular basis for fixed and variable costs
• Detects charging issues and effectively communicate to Finance
• Initiates accrual to match revenue vs expense to time periods
• Provides bridging report for increase/decrease in costs vs budget
• Creates cost reduction programs that further improve Company’s profitability
• Selects carriers and negotiate contract and rates thru Business Procurement Group
• Sets metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements among service providers
• Conducts periodic review of key performance indicators set to service providers.
• Implemented process improvement to shape organizational culture, optimize procedures for higher efficiency and help company evolve and grow
• Spearheaded the implementation of innovative technology solutions to optimize workflows and improve communication among team members

• Manage, plans, executes, and controls logistics service activities for external warehouses, distribution (FEEDS) centers, land & marine transports to manufacturing plants
• Responsible for overall management and monitoring of Live operations Feeds Movement, particularly inland and inter-island feeds deliveries in all stages of production cycle of poultry breeding operations (PBO), poultry growing operations (PGO) and other operations attached to intra feeds deliveries
• Other responsibilities include leading and developing of logistics people, job assignment, coaching and providing trainings, thru assistance of HR, conducts regular talent assessments, one on one staff conversation and reviews mid-year/annual appraisal performance
• Also, responsible for hiring personnel, as needed.

• Prepares the schedule for the eggs, day old chicks and grown broilers to hatcheries, farms and dressing plants respectively
• Ensures that chicks are strategically distributed to farms to achieve most favorable harvest
• Coordinates with Hatchery Production Specialist, Animal Production Specialist, Animal Health Specialist and Manufacturing Specialist for harmonious movement and transfers
• Ensures availability of trucks for all movements from Breeding Farms to Hatcheries, Hatcheries to Farms, Farm to Dressing Plants.

• Supervises receipts and transfers of Raw and Packaging Materials from Distribution Hub to Feed Plants
• Prepares dispatch and shipping plans for the raw material requirements of Feed Plants
• Ensures that raw materials are adequately and strategically distributed to external warehouses
• Ensures arrival of incoming shipment of materials and informs the receiving plants
• Coordinates with Planners for any interplant raw materials transfers
• Ensures availability of trucks for raw materials and finished goods transfers to other plants
• Ensures that Third Party Warehouse Contractor follows standard operating procedure in recording and monitoring on movements and aging of raw materials in their respective warehouses
• Prepares documentation from receipts of raw materials and ensure on-time payment to suppliers
• Performs SAP data entry for goods receipt (GR) and issuance of delivery receipt (DR) for withdrawals and transfers
• Monitors at SAP issuance of bulk raw materials to sub-con vendors
• Prepares Payment Request Memo for warehouse rentals, materials handling and warehouse management billings
• Prepares Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Recommendation System (PRS) for logistics services such as trucking, shipping and warehousing
• Attest in month-end inventory count of raw materials with Finance to external warehouses
• Reconciles SAP physical inventory entry versus actual count during month-end closing
• Assist in getting current prices of corn and cassava at trading area for Business Procurement Group information
• Attend weekly coordination meetings with Sales, Manufacturing and Agri
• Development group
• Source out for available warehouses if necessary during peak buying season of raw materials as mandated by Business Procurement Group.

• Performs Industrial Engineering studies assigned from time to time.

• Ensures on-time availability of ingredients, packaging and plant supplies daily
• Monitors movement of stocks and ensures quality of raw materials
• Monitor exact usage of ingredients used in production.
