Manolet Garcia, who has a professional career that spans almost three decades, is described as multi-layered, multi-faceted, and multi-dimensional. He is a licensed architect (Philippines) by main profession, a Design and Arts Educator by vocation, and a creative impresario by diversion. With more than 25 years of being involved in the academe, (1993-2007 and 2015 - present), Manolet has rich experiences dealing with students and administration personnel in the field of visual arts, multimedia design, dance, architecture and music. His design background has also been tapped in the development of learning spaces at the early onset of De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. Based in Singapore from 2008 - 2016, he returned home to continue his creative pursuit to be part of country’s creative industries, construction and the education sector. As another noteworthy facet of his career, he has also been a television host for TV5 ‘s “By Design” , an award winning magazine show in the late 90s. Lately, he has been asked to host Blue Print Conversation On line shows. Since his return in Manila in 2017, Manolet has been active again in the design industry doing residential, hospitality and commercial projects. He has also been invited back to the academe as part time lecturer in College of St. Benilde, National Commission for Culture and Arts’ Philippine Cultural and Education Program, Adamson University, and Asia Pacific College.
