Brief Summary:

• Implements the company’s WESM training and education programs to ensure successful orientation and participation of trading participants in the WESM through the creation, development, and deployment of capacity building tools and educational materials and systems that will guide participants throughout the whole WESM trading process. Oversees/manages the company's data services to ensure adequacy, accuracy and availability of market data and effectively address/provide data requests of the clientele to support their respective business requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall implementation of the Company's WESM knowledge, information and education programs for market participants and the industry, and for the supervision of the day-to-day operations of the Knowledge Management Services Section.
• Develops, formulates, and organizes WESM and related knowledge, information and education programs including curriculum materials and methodologies for Basic WESM, RCOA, Advanced WESM as well as special and customized programs, ensuring that these are responsive to the identified knowledge, information and education needs of the industry stakeholders, and ensure that market participants, in particular, are prepared to transact in the wholesale and retail markets and/or are abreast with new market developments.
• Serves as the Corporation’s primary resource person for the Corporation’s WESM knowledge, information, and education programs.
• Represents the company in other industry-related training and education programs organized by other agencies, companies or groups.
• Liaises with relevant government and regulatory agencies to help strengthen the WESM governance culture, to create sustainable market relationships and to come up with capability-building tools for participant development.
• Establish effective coordination with relevant departments and/or process owners in the development of knowledge, information and educational materials, market data and market reports.
• Manages the company’s data services program including historical market data requests, knowledge suites and data subscription services.
