Project Name: Nutanix Nodes Setup in Data Center
Project Description: Setup/mount the 3 Nutanix nodes for compute in the Data Center rack with the help of Nutanix vendor.
Responsibilities:
● Unbox and mount the Nutanix nodes in the Data Center rack, 2U size per node.
● Installation of Acropolis OS on deployed Nutanix nodes will be initiated by Nutanix vendor/support.
● Cable setup/management from Dell TOR switch to Nutanix nodes. 10 Gbps speed.
● Check in the Nutanix Element portal if the Nutanix nodes are set up successfully.
Project Name: VMWare to Nutanix Migration
Project Description: A total of 200 plus VMWare VM servers need to be migrated to the Nutanix Element platform.
Responsibilities:
● Build the Nutanix Move, this tool used for VMWare to Nutanix migration.
● Plan migration schedule by batch for VMWare VM servers, release email announcements/notifications to the server owners/clients.
● Execute the migration inside Nutanix Move, set up the source and destination, and add the VMWare and Nutanix hosts/nodes.
● Setup the VMWare VM servers to be migrated, assign the VLAN to setup the server IP address in Nutanix move.
● Start the migration process, after the migration. Ready for cutover. Power off in VMWare and Power on in Nutanix console.
● Try to test ping the migrated server and access it inside Nutanix Element via Console.
Project Name: Nutanix Nodes Expansion in Data Center
Project Description: Setup/mount the additional 4 Nutanix nodes, (2 nodes for compute and 2 nodes for storage) in the Data Center rack with the help of Nutanix vendor.

Project Description: Inventory of all the Desktop and Laptop asset description total of 1,000 plus workstations, the information details are asset number, purchase order details, (PO number, Date delivered, Serial Number), Desktop/Laptop Brand, Specifications, Model.
Responsibilities:
● Need to update and monitor the Inventory on a day to day basis.
● Check and validate all the delivery from the vendor and input the needed machine information to the system.
● Weekly/Monthly export to excel for monthly reports.
Project Name: Active Directory Workstation OU Migration
Project Description: Need to migrate all the workstation OU from old to new OU.
Responsibilities:
● Gather all the hostname and OU information of the workstation.
● Pattern the OU information from old OU to new OU and perform the movement of the hostname in Active Directory.
● To the migrated workstations, perform gpupdate /force and run rsop.msc to check if the assigned policy applied per production.
Project Name: WSUS patch deployment (Desktop/Laptop)
Project Description: Deploy Desktop/Laptop windows patches on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities:
● Check the new windows patches in the WSUS server.
● Filter it and approve the compatible, critical patches and unapprove the other windows patches that aren't important.
● Deploy it to the production/campaign.
