- Led team in handling and managing 500+ dispatchers’ and operators’ technical performance in using equipment fleet (such as Quay Cranes, Yard Cranes, Stackers, Trucks and Forklifts). Improved efficiency talent assessment timings that resulted in 15% daily manpower reduction by forecasting needed requirements and dates, documented it into a playbook, and cascading it to all stakeholders early on.
- Part of the team that studied terminal’s 3-year data on seasonal demand and supply across all variables (I.e. # of equipment fuel consumption, etc.) within a month, and recommended streamlining total terminal requirements (manpower, equipment, etc.) via demand planning and lean forecasting. Resulted in efficient deployment and use of equipment across total terminal. Resulting in an increase in equipment performance by 15%, while reducing overtime and fuel cost by 25%.
- Handled continuous process improvement across operations, project management, and team management, implemented 10+ new process improvements, leading to 10% reduction in operation cost, and 5% increase in customer service satisfaction.
