Every year up to three Product Supplier would provide their products to me for recipe development. During the event my role is to effectively introduce and demonstrate to the attendees how they could use said products using my recipe.

  • Once or twice a year I develop Breads and Pastries products for the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Breads and Pastries training. This entails developing bread using high value crops products like root crops and vegetables produced within the Cordilleras. I would then use these recipes to train DOST approved attendees, usually bakery owners and staff. I travel with the DOST PSTC staff to where these developed products are needed – small towns within and outside Benguet, to as far as Ifugao. These trainees could reach out to me even after the training for further information about production.

Growing up in the mountains of Baguio City, it is only natural to be in touch with nature, most of my peers are well into mountain biking, hiking, and camping.  And when it gets too cold in our city, we go down to the lowlands where it's warm and the beach offer clear waters ideal for snorkeling.
