Having 14 years working overseas and 11 years in the Philippines. Handling in pre and post contract duties from tender process to awarding of contract, reconciliation of final quantities, variation order, closing account, project management and coordination. Knowledgeable in FIDIC, SIA and REDAS form of contracts.

• Review tender package and contract documents including drawings, specification and bill of quantities, procedures and other conditions.
• Review quantity and cost estimates in accordance with the specification and drawings.
• Generate inquiries in the market to specialists, subcontractors and suppliers for various items included in the BOQ.
• Review on contractual methods and tendering procedure.
• Conduct prequalification and financial assessment to the tenderers.
• Liaise with the Design Team to obtain final design.
• Provide information to all tenderers for any addendum.
• Review tenderers offer to ensure that rates are as per drawings and specification and conduct tender review on the technical standard other requirements are being considered.
• Follow up inquiries and obtain the most competitive quotes by understanding current market trends, identification and preparation of comparative reports.
• Review/prepare subcontracts.

• Conduct meeting with Construction team for the monthly interim payment/ claim.
• Review budgetary estimates/detailed breakdown of cost.
• Review / Prepare tender analysis in accordance with the approved construction drawings and re-measured Bill of Quantities.
• Report in detail to the Project Manager on commercial status of the project.
• Administering contract obligations and meet additional Client requirement.
• Monitor / liaise with Design team and construction team for any design changes.
• Review all confirmed and probable variation orders to be submitted to the Client.
• Liaise with the Client’s Representative on commercial issue including agreement of variation orders, claims and any other additional payment.
• Attend progress meetings and provide updates to the Client.
• Manage historical cost data.
• Coordinate with contractor and advise on contract requirements and resolve disputes.
• Review contractors accounts, interim valuation and final accounts. Ensure payment certificates are processed and payments are made per the agreed sub-contract terms and conditions.
• Review/Prepare agreement on Final Account.
• Supervise and mentor Quantity Surveyors.
• Visit multiple project sites to review performance and training requirements of quantity surveyors.
