• Responsible for supporting the Head Nurse and provides effective leadership to team members by ensuring that continuity of care with other shifts and teamwork is maintained and promoted at all times.
• Serves as a resource person to Junior Staff Nurse and delegate tasks based on their capabilities.
• Maintains attentiveness to customer's needs; initiates steps that will comply with their requirements to meet and exceed their expectation.
• Documents Nursing Care Plan accurately.
• Plans ways to solve problems and make improvements in the delivery of patient care.
• Performs daily routine nursing audit and patients rounds with the incoming and outgoing shift.
• Endorses all completed and contemplated procedures and all pertinent data of all patient to incoming shift.
