

SAFETY OFFICER,
Implement and enforce company Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies, procedures, and client-specific safety requirements.
-Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential workplace hazards.
-Prepare, review, and update Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
-Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with DOLE OSH Standards, company policies, and applicable local regulations.
-Conduct toolbox meetings (TBM), pre-task safety briefings, and new employee safety orientations.
-Verify that all required work permits are secured before work begins, including Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, Work at Height, Lifting Operations, Excavation, and Electrical Work permits.
-Inspect personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, equipment, scaffolds, ladders, lifting gear, and work areas to ensure they are safe and fit for use.
-Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe work procedures at all project locations.
-Conduct regular safety audits and compliance inspections and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
-Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, property damage, and unsafe conditions to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
-Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety statistics.
-Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safe execution of work activities.
-Review lifting plans, work methodologies, and construction procedures to ensure adequate safety controls are in place.
-Monitor excavation, welding, fabrication, mechanical installation, electrical works, commissioning, and confined space activities to ensure compliance with approved safety procedures.
-Assist in organizing emergency drills, evacuation exercises, and emergency response training.
-Promote good housekeeping practices by ensuring work areas remain clean, organized, and free from unnecessary hazards.
Encourage a proactive safety culture by coaching workers, recognizing safe behavior, and promoting hazard reporting.
Assist management in achieving project safety objectives by minimizing workplace incidents and maintaining a zero-lost-time injury culture.

TIG Welder / Commissioning Technician,
delivering ammonia pipeline fabrication, installation, and repair under approved WPS, P&ID, and project safety standards. Executes SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW on carbon steel and stainless-steel piping, then supports pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning to confirm code-compliant handover. Applies COSH safety controls on site through risk assessment, work-area checks, and crew safety orientation.
