In some of my reading, I learned some important things that I adapt to my every day life like 'It is more important to be kind than to be right and that doing the right thing doesn't always make you feel good; or sometimes the best thing to do is nothing.'
Reading sometimes make you feel you are a part of the story, it's either you're the protagonist or the antagonist. Makes me feel grounded sometimes especially when life stresses you out and feel that you are helpless to do anything.
